History of Mooncakes

Celebrated in China and Vietnam for over 3,000 years, the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival because it takes place on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar, the day when the full moon is the roundest and brightest of the year, symbolising family unity and togetherness.
